Family Guy
Family Guy is an all American animated sitcom revolving around semi- dysfunctional family of five that lives in a fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island. The show started in 1999 but was cancelled twice only to be revived at the hue and cry raised by the fans. Recently, it aired its 113th episode on October 23, 2008. The wacky and sporadically irreverent adventures of this less than normal family are the main premise of the show. Griffin household is made up of five….. no, six members, as Brian the martini drinking dog is actually smarter than everyone else. The head of the family is Peter Griffin a morbidly obese moron, who tries to do what is best for the family. His sexpot wife Lois; Chris, his obese teenage son who has low IQ and no common sense and his adolescent homely daughter Meg who is always trying to be part of popular crowd, make up rest of his family. Last but not the least is the diabolical infant Stewie, with ambiguous sexual orientation who makes innumerous attempts to exterminate his parents and siblings. The spontaneous and often absurd events of the show are its trademark.
